IMG 6068Well here we are post Annual Convention and we, your committee would like to say thank you to all our great members, delegates and speakers as without a committed audience and participants such as you we would have no raison détre.

There were some really fabulous speakers and presentations over the weekend. Robynne Nelson, Yorta Yorta woman from Shepparton way was entrancing. She introduced us to some key concepts that are important to the Aboriginal people of our land (Australia). They are the original caretakers of the land and touch it lightly in their traditional practices.  We, as Feng Shui practitioners can certainly take great instruction from them.

Juliana Abram flew all the way from Perth and gave a great presentation drawing the link between 'green', ecologicallyIMG 6067 sustainable practices and Traditional Feng Shui. She spoke well and fielded questions and statements from the floor in her usual professional and experienced manner.

In the afternoon we received a unique presentation by Salwa Abboud from The Ministry of Feng Shui. Her talk highlighted the connection between latitude and longitude and the stems and branches. It was certainly not something that we had come across before.

Salwa was followed by the inimical Jerry King - BaZi Meister. He flew through many examples of BaZi and Health and set every one wanting more, but the night fell and we all went to dine.

The evening celebratory meal was excellent and we all laughed and groaned that we had eaten too much - and indeed we had.

Sunday morning Vicki Sauvage presented 3 case studies and a video about Landform - mostly Tasmania but included the dragon's tail in Victoria (Australia), She chose to be controversial about the pre-eminence of Landform and Annual stars as triggers for negative events.

216215 10151383237242274 1784800033 nShe was followed by the irresistible, charismatic and knowledgeable Tyler Rowe . Boy his clients & patients are lucky as he is such a diligent and thoughtful man. He is also jovial and a great entertainer as he soon had us thoroughly entranced in his presentation on Ganying Mutual Resonance.

The gentle, thoughtful and Zen Edgar Lok Tin Yung followed after lunch - a very hard gig really. His presentation was also very good, allowing us to draw deeper understanding of the 10 Gods in BaZi - interesting concept was the bridge stars.

Our final speaker was the very knowledgeable and spiritual Ruanna Segal. She used the metaphysical system of the Tarot to draw out the images of the snake which are embedded in Western mythological systems.

Again, we wish to thank all the speakers and delegates and of course our wonderful Masters of Ceremony, Tyler J. Rowe and Janene Laird. Well done to everyone involved and we look forward to seeing you all again on February the 1st, 2014 for our annual Chinese New Year Luncheon.
