Lisa’s interest in Feng Shui was sparked by an article she read in a magazine during the mid 90’s about how a business was doing poorly until they invited a Practitioner to assess the Feng Shui of the office. By making a few changes including a major one, which involved relocating the toilet, they completely changed the ‘Qi’ (or energy) of the business. As a result the business instantly began to make profits.
She was fascinated by this story and being the sort of person who would regularly (every couple of months or so) upturn the house and rearrange all the furniture to create a better energy flow or balance, Lisa was drawn to Feng Shui in a flash. She arranged for a Practitioner to conduct an audit on her home office at the time in Sydney and was very impressed with the results.
Lisa relocated to Newcastle in 2001 and alongside her Graphic Design business she continued to pursue an interest in Feng Shui. She began her study with Lillian Too, has studied with Grand Master Raymond Lo and since 2013 has been mentored by Dean French. Dean’s vast knowledge and application of Feng Shui encompasses Flying Stars, landform Feng Shui, Ba Chop and Da Gua.
Lisa is also currently studying Chinese Astrology, also known as or 4 Pillars or Bazi with Dr Jin Peh. Chinese Astrology provides an additional dimension to Feng Shui where the Practitioner can personalise Feng Shui audits and provide the occupants of a home or business with the most suitable sectors to benefit them i.e. to improve a child’s academic performance or behavior.
Lisa’s background in Graphic Design has given her an eye for the aesthetic, which she now can successfully and practically combine with Feng Shui to create healthy, harmonious, balanced and successful home and work environments for anyone interested in improving the quality of their life.
